1. Great Color. It's a dark chocolate brown that doesn't look cheap at all.

2. Good Quality. The drawers open very smoothly and the side panels as well. The little nickel pulls don't look cheapy. I really like that it doesn't sit flush on my table as it is slightly raised at the bottom. The felt lining seems well-attached and doesn't seem like it will come apart. The construction is not flimsy, by any means.

3. Shipping. I opted for regular shipping and it got here sooner than I thought. It was boxed very securely.

I was skeptical, but made the purchase based on earlier reviews.
Overall, aesthetically pleasing and of exceptional quality... better than I expected.

I just bought this as a gift for my wife when she informed me that we are pregnant. She absolutely loves it, and it looks just like the picture. My only disappointment (and the reason I give it four stars) is that it is much smaller than I expected it to be. I haven't measured it, but I would guess the size to be about 1/2" square. Also, the chain is very thin, but that can easily be swapped out for a better chain.

I love it mostly because it was a surprise from my husband. Over the years he has given me many pieces of gold/diamond jewelry. Most of the pieces in the past were returned or exchanged for one of my own choosing, and most of them are much larger and flashier than this small, simple piece. I am learning to cherish the gifts for what they represent and not what they "look like". A few years ago I would not have worn something this small. Now, I have just added this pendant on to another chain with a larger diamond bauble, and I love wearing them together. I have learned that bigger is not always better. It truly is the thought that counts and I adore this delicate, tiny, feminine surprise. My husband now has a terminal disease (Lou Gehrig's Disease) so he can no longer go out and shop. Powell Merlot Jewelry Armoire Review

I was so excited when my package arrived since I gave my old armoire to my daughter. When I opened the package and started putting it together I was quickly disappointed in the quality of the product. The drawers are either hard to open or open so easy that you have to be careful not to drop all the contents (jewelry) that is in it. The only place to put rings is located under the top where the mirror is and there is only one small square of that space. I ended up having to put the rest of my rings in a clump in one of the compartments which pretty much defeats the purpose of displaying them to have easy access. There were a few scratches and what looks like paint drips on the side and on one drawer. The necklace compartments on the sides do not open like most armoires, you push on it and it pops open. I would not recommend this armoire. I paid $149 for it and it should sell for more like $50, which is what it is worth!! *UPDATE* I have had this armoire for about a week now and I would return it had my family not put the box it came in out to the trash already....this product has such an awful smell that I have had to take it out of my bedroom because the smell gives me a headache! It is a chemical smell and on top of the scratches, paint drips and general overall low quality of this product I feel I am stuck with it since I no longer have the box to return it. Because of the smell I feel I have to take away one of the stars on the rating....please....BUYER BEWARE!!!

My earrings were delivered today and I must say that I am very pleased with this purchase. I've had these earrings on my wish list for a long time but never could justify spending this kind of money on myself. After many years of hard work and penny pinching, I decided it was time to splurge. About three months ago I started researching diamond earrings and comparing carat, cut, color, clarity and pricing. The quality of the diamonds was more important to me than the carat size. I wasn't sure if I was going to buy my diamonds from Amazon. A lot of the diamonds offered here are at a lower price, but they also are of lesser quality and most of them have a significant number of inclusions which was unacceptable to me.

I knew that the earrings I wanted to buy had to be at least G-H in color and a minimum of VS1/2 in clarity. I figured that I would have to choose a smaller carat size in order to stay within my price range. I found this particular pair of 1 cttw diamond earring studs on Amazon and they were exactly what I was looking for but the price was still a bit higher than I was hoping to spend. I kept checking Amazon to see if the price had dropped and I was lucky enough to buy them during a gold box deal at a very nice savings.

The earring were delivered by UPS two day service and required a signature. The item was packaged very well and the earrings came in a lovely mahogany colored wooden box and included a laminated card from the I.G.I. in New York which provided detailed information on the cut, color and clarity of the diamonds. There was additional literature which explained that both of the diamonds are lasercribed with an identification number which can provide added security if these earrings are ever lost or stolen.

I checked the diamonds out very carefully and was not able to see any flaws. These earrings have an incredible sparkle and the 1 cttw size is perfect. People will definitely notice you are wearing them. I consider these quality earrings to be an investment which will increase in value over the years and will certainly make me happy every time I wear them.

Updated 3/20/08 - Amazon now has these earrings listed at $4,099.99 which is overpriced. These same earrings can be purchased elsewhere for less than $3,000.

The armoire is solid and very pretty. It definitely is not white but cream colored. I say to the previous reviewer that said it was cheap, it's $125! Not exactly high end furniture prices. The drawers will pull right out, there are no stops on them. I really like the piece and am very happy with it. I gave it 4 stars only because you have to attach the top and it takes two people to get it right. If not careful you can attach it crooked and it won't shut right. Overall I'm happy with my purchase.
