Product Description

Classically shaped freestanding jewelry armoire features oak veneer with � Woodland Oak� finish. There are 3 small curved drawers, 2 large curved drawers, and 1 curved door cabinet that are perfect for storing a variety of jewelry and accessories. The 1st small drawer has 9 squares and all other drawers are opened and fully lined in 100% plush black rayon. The top lid lifts open to reveal a mirror for easy viewing and top compartment for storage rings and other accessories. Four fully lined side doors swing open to reveal a row of hooks for hanging necklaces. Traditional Queen Anne style legs with half column posts on the face of each door. The assembly is unique in that upper drawer section ships k/d inside the lower cabinet. The upper swing doors ship inside the large drawers. Attach the 4 legs with machine screws and washers to the lower cabinet. Place the upper drawer section on top of the lower cabinet. Slide the hinges of the upper doors onto the hinges of the upper drawer section. Tighten the top in place with wood screws.

I am usually very generous with my review ratings but unfortunatly not this time. Received the armoire on time and well packed however the finish was not even close to the picture on the listing. The listing shows a golden oak finish with heavy grains in the wood but the one we received was more of a cherry tone with very light grains. It didn't match our oak furniture at all. It also had one huge (1" x 1") patch in the wood on one of the front main pillars, and the leading edge of the cabinet was split, you could tell from the way it received the stain that this was there when they stained the wood. Another thing, in a bizarre attempt to present this armoire as "rustic", they took a sharp object like a minature rake and made random scratches in various locations all over the cabinet. It is a huge waste of everyone's time, from the assemblers, packers, stockers, shippers, advertisers, customers, return dept. etc. to attempt to knowingly sell a product with such obvious defects. Thank God for Amazon and their painless return policy.

URGENT UPDATE: All the five star reviews are from people who only have one review on Amazon...and they are all for this armoire. Sound fishy to you?

Update #2: I found a vendor named "Amish Avenue" that sells real 100% wood furniture made in America by real Amish craftsman. I bought a huge jewelry armoire made of solid oak for my wife to make up for the dissapointing mothers day gift of the above P.O.S. It costs alot more but it is the most awesome piece of furniture I've ever bought. It is rock solid and built to last forever and will be proudly displayed for a long time. She is very happy now.
