If you are looking for a unique yet affordable pair of fabulous diamond studs, then search no further. These 4.00 ctw black diamond studs are absolutely DROP DEAD GORGEOUS. From the moment I reached out to Vijay from TriJewels with a special request to make these earrings in yellow gold as a present for my Mother's 70th Birthday, I received nothing short of OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE. When the earrings arrived, I was truly impressed with the quality for the price: The studs were perfectly matched; eye clean in bright sunlight; a uniform dark black color and ABSOLUTELY STUNNING in the yellow gold. I totally recommend buying these studs from TriJewels as they are TOP QUALITY and literally 1/2 the price of what I have seen elsewhere online.

Now a couple of tips if you have never seen or purchased black diamond earrings before:

1) Remember, all diamond studs are sold in CTW (carat total weight) meaning each stud is only HALF the total carat weight. If you want each stud to be 1.0 carats, you must buy 2.0 ctw.

2) Black diamonds weigh more than white diamonds, so if you are looking for a stud that looks like 1.5 carats in white diamonds, then buy 2 carats in black diamonds. When it comes to diamonds, bigger is always better. These particular diamond earrings are a PERFECT SIZE.

3) Black diamonds do not sparkle the way traditional - even colored - diamonds do. Think of their sparkle to look like a well cut dark smoky quartz. A black diamond is an opaque stone.

4) Black diamonds are not jet black like onyx, but more of a deep, deep gray (again, like a sparkling, light black smoky quartz). Just a unique and gorgeous stone.

5) If you dislike "screw backs" like I do, be sure to request "push backs". Most expensive diamond studs come in screw backs, but I don't have the patience or the time to deal with it, so I always ask my jewelers for push backs.
