I currently own a 2.3 liter Kendal ultrasonic cleaner and it works fine. I wanted something a bit larger and with a bit more power also. I almost bought the Sharper-Tek one, but I figured that my small Kendal worked fine, so why not try the same brand. I received it yesterday and used it to clean some rifle brass last night. It worked great. It makes my smaller one seem like a toy. The other reveiw mentioned that there is no on/off switch. My smaller one didn't have one either. The lights go on when you plug it in. All you have to do is arrow up and down for the timer, hit start and it's running. There is a switch for the heater which you start after arrowing up or down for the desired temperature. Using heat is optional. I uplug it when it's not in use. That's my switch. It is a good idea to do this, as the machine is not supposed to run with no water in it. Unplugging it will prevent small kids from accidentally turning it on.

The directions are short and sweet and to the point. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to run these machines, but there are a couple of things which you need to be aware of so as not to damage it.

I was very impressed with the results I obtained. My expectations were high and this machine didn't let me down. I would stronly recommend this model if you are looking for a medium size unit. If you are looking for something small, don't hesitate to get the 2.3 or 2.6 size.
