Just since March 16, though, both retail and selling prices have changed on Amazon to be $34.99 and $70. It's very true that the posts are a little thicker than normal, but not onerously so; the result is that the hoop is not going to slide around on your ear, and the post clicks securely into the catch on the other side. The earrings are larger than I expected for the price, which is good, but they are not too big. Nickel size is about right, and they feel as if they have some weight to them.
