The necklace shipped from the New York City area via USPS with good packaging. I placed the order on Monday, October 8, 2012 (Columbus Day holiday), it shipped October 11, and it arrived in Boston the following Monday, October 15.The necklace arrived in a presentable blue box and case as shown.
The measured diameters of the pearls are almost exactly 7mm. The size varies slightly along the strand, but the variation is barely noticeable.
The length is almost exactly 20".
The clasp is as shown.
The pearls have bumps and some have large bumps. They have almost no discolorations, dents, or pock marks. The grade might be technically AAA as not more than 5% of the pearl surfaces have imperfections. However, the stores I browsed locally (Boston) sold better quality pearls as A.
