Purchased this for a Mother's Day gift. Quality of the pearls is excellent and packaging is beautiful, making it perfect for gift giving. Sadly,the pearls look more purplish than black. I'm really disappointed. However, I received a call today from the vendor who apologized, explained the complexities of black pearls, agreed to send a label to facilitate the return of my pearls and offered to send me a replacement necklace in time for Mother's Day. WOW! It does not get better than this. The gentlemen knew I had purchased several pearl items in the past and genuinely expressed interest in resolving my dilemma. BTW, I have loved every piece that I had purchased in the past from La Regis Pearl. Every item has been outstanding in quality and of course, of great value. How wonderful to discover that it is also a company that cares about their reputation.
